ACBL outperforms industry safety benchmarks, earning Jones F. Devlin Awards for 69 vessels in 2024.
Eighteen years of incident- and injury-free operations at ACBL’s Memphis Terminal reflect our safety-first culture.

Environmental Stewardship
Reducing emissions, modernizing our fleet, and protecting the waterways that power our business
In 2024, 107 vessels were honored for exceptional environmental performance with CSA Environmental Achievement Awards.
Through expanded refill stations and reusable bottle use, ACBL has cut more than 65,000 single-use plastic bottles from the waste stream as of July 2025.
Our upgraded fleet delivers greater efficiency and reliability, preventing more than 20,000 metric tons of CO₂e emissions.
In 2024, ACBL partnered with Living Lands & Waters to plant more than 6,000 native trees and remove more than 4,700 pounds of river debris.
Working with industry and federal partners, ACBL supports sustainable waterway management and infrastructure improvements.
